Term Assurance
Is is really the case that tragedies only happen to people in newspaper articles, or on television?
Can you really be sure that the future will be all peaches and cream or are you just happy to take on the chin whatever life throws at you?
Perhaps a flooded kitchen or a surprise redundancy could be navigated comfortably, but how would you be able to handle the death of a loved one?
How would this tragic event be compounded if it were the breadwinner that passed away?
No matter whether it’s the husband or wife who goes to work or stays at home to look after the children, loss of income due to serious illness or death can create severe financial disruption.
This can be insured against though, through the use of straightforward life insurance that provides protection for a period of time chosen by you.
Term Assurance is one of the most inexpensive forms of life insurance available, and is designed to pay out only when your loved ones would need it most - in the event of death or terminal illness during the policy term. The plan has no cash-in value at anytime. Terminal illness benefit only applies before the last 18 months of the plan term and would pay out where the life expectancy of a Life Assured is less than 12 months. Term Assurance is provided by Norwich Union.
